Prestige Estates Projects Limited, trading as Prestige Group, was founded in Bangalore in 1986 by Razack Sattar and is today one of the largest listed developers in India. The company began with retail and commercial work in central Bangalore and expanded into residential, hospitality, retail malls and office parks, and it remains headquartered in the city where the bulk of its residential inventory sits. Its Bangalore residential book spans compact apartments on Kanakapura Road and Electronic City through to large lake-facing townships in Whitefield and high-rise luxury towers in the central and northern suburbs. The group is listed on the BSE and NSE and has extended the same model to Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, the NCR, Goa and Kochi.
