Embassy Group
Embassy Group is a Bengaluru-headquartered developer founded in 1993 that has grown into one of India's largest owners and developers of commercial real estate, and which now runs a substantial residential business alongside it. The group sponsored Embassy REIT, India's first listed real estate investment trust, in 2019, and has worked with institutional partners including Blackstone and Bain Capital. Its residential arm operates through Embassy Developments Limited following the merger with Indiabulls Real Estate, and the group has stated a pipeline of six North Bengaluru residential launches with a gross development value of roughly INR 10,300 crore and about 5.6 million sq ft of development potential. Beyond real estate the group runs Stonehill International School, hospitality and club assets, co-working through its WeWork India association, industrial and warehousing parks, and senior living. In Bengaluru the residential portfolio is concentrated around Devanahalli and the Embassy Springs township, Yelahanka, Hebbal and Whitefield.
